Alpha Veterinary Center

I had a great experience here today with my cat. He needed a wellness exam and some shots. Dr. Cox was fabulous and the vet tech was great with my cat. I recommend it!

Alpha Vet Center is the best! We have a Jindo rescued from a Korean dog meat farm. Because of his past, he is very shy and terrified of people, through no fault of his own. The doctors suggested a combo of meds that would relax our dog, and we gave them to him before our appointment. Our vet visit was the most positive experience ever! Dr. Burton and techs were wonderful and very gentle with him. They made our dog feel at ease and comfortable. He even took treats from them which he has never done with strangers. The exam was a success, and we are very pleased. As a former vet receptionist and retired groomer, I cannot say enough good things about this practice. If you need a quality vet hospital with a caring compassionate team, this is the one to go to. You won't be disappointed. We are very happy with them and so is our doggy :)

My first time here and staff is rude on the phone and in person! First they called me a few days prior to my appointment and had me mixed up with someone else about a series of shots and appointments. I told the girl that she had me mistaken for someone else bc I’ve never been there before and my first appointment is coming up next week. She was extremely rude and hung up the phone. Then when I actually arrived for my appt a few days later, I walked into the waiting room with my animal and the receptionist was upset that I walked in with my pet. Apparently there are a few signs on the door and one of them just says”call the office” that sign meant that I need to call and when they’re ready for me they will come to my car and get me. This is very strange way to run a business! Definitely finding a different vet.

I wish there was less than a 1. This place is a complete mess administratively. I liked the vet but goodness this place is a mess.. They say they have to overcharge a credit card because they can only process in full dollar amounts. They tell you they don't have a card on file and then charge the card on file after you give another. They Call and say you forgot something that an animal is supposed to be given multiple times a week when they never told you. They then when you tried to pick up the item don't know what you're talking about when it's sitting right next to them on the desk and it's the same person that called. I'm going to find out the same day that they want you to come back and pick something else up. I have never seen an office mismanaged in my life.

Disorganized, even clueless, front desk staff. Created confusion at time of billing and did not provide prescribed medications, resulting in multiple trips by our dog handler. Based on the aggravation and attitude encountered, I would not recommend this practice.
