I had been dealing with health issues with my Hank for a couple months and it was finally time to make the hard decision. Now only was Courtney so helpful and understanding when I called a few times. They were kind and compassionate in person when I brought him in to say goodbye. One of the hardest days of my life and I never felt rushed or judged. Appreciated their kindness.

I may have gotten lucky with a low wait time. They clearly outlined a very typical price for emergency vet services. The urgency, kindness, and warmth they treated me and my beloved pet more than made up for any perceived inconvenience of waiting or cost. I trust these professionals with my pets' lives at times when it matters the most. It's obvious to me there's a reason they are often busy, and it's because of the high quality of their care. Thank you so much for helping my little buddy ❤️ and keep up the amazing work you do!

I am surprised to see a 3.4 rating, so will add my review as you can see it is a 5-Star. My best friend father's elderly kitty needed attention as he was throwing up and not eating. We took Mitty in to have him looked at since it was a Sunday morning. Fortunately, we didn't have to wait as Mitty was evaluated right away when we arrived. The tech and Dr. Josh were amazing! They listened and noted our concerns, kept us posted on what they were doing, provided estimates of costs for labs, xray, fluids, and meds as they continued with evaluation. Dr. Josh addressed the immediate concerns and didn't go overboad with suggesting unnecessary tests, etc...It was actually my friend and her father who asked if an xray could be done to rule out possible bowel obstruction. Mitty is doing better now. Thank you for taking good care of Mitty as we get pretty stressed when Mitty is not well. I did note when we left 3 hours later the waiting room was full so glad we arrived when we did. I highly recommend if your furry babies need medical attention outside of your vet regular office hours.

Title: Disappointing Experience at Allied emergency veterinary services Rochester Minnesota Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1 star) I recently had a disheartening experience at this ER veterinary clinic. I found a cat in the middle of the road and tried for three days to save her life before deciding to bring her to this clinic for humane euthanasia. Upon arrival, my first interaction was less about the welfare of the animal and more about financial responsibility. The staff's immediate question was whether I would be responsible for the bill, which felt cold and uncaring given the situation. When I inquired if a vet could assess the cat to see if there was any chance of recovery, I was informed that I would have to pay a vet fee just for a look, which was shocking. It seemed like the clinic was more interested in revenue than in providing compassionate care. The vet herself was equally disappointing. When I asked about the condition of the cat's eyes during the euthanasia process, she responded with "I have no idea," showing a complete lack of interest or empathy, especially after I had declined further examination to avoid additional costs. This clinic did not display the compassion or professionalism one would expect in such a sensitive situation. I left feeling that both the cat and I were just another transaction. If you're looking for a place where the love for animals comes before the love for money, I suggest looking elsewhere.

I will definitely go back to Allied Veterinary in case of another emergency. We were brought back to a room very quickly and vitals taken almost immediately. The staff were very kind, knowledgeable and reassuring. It’s so nice to have an emergency vet near Rochester again!
