Nov 26, 2024 · Mike McFerranWe are here in topsail for 6 months. Our sweet 20-year-old baby moose took a turn for the worse and sadly he had to be put down. The staff at this office is beyond incredible. They were not only compassionate and caring, but they were so loving with him and us as well. They went above and beyond and they felt like family. They even took the time to write a beautiful card and everyone in the office signed it and wrote a personal message. My absolute favorite thing is they took the time to get several paw prints and his sweet little nose print as well. Customer service like this is very rare and they were absolutely amazing.
Jan 27, 2025 · Jennifer DucharmeI would give zero stars if I could. When we first moved here, I scheduled an annual exam and vaccines for all three of our dogs. We did everything except the bordetella because they already had their six month vaccine recently and I wanted to check with the boarding place if they required the 1 year before I had them give a second Bordetella vaccine for each dog. When I brought them back for the Bordetella vaccine they tried to charge me for a 2nd exam even though they just did an exam a week or two before. No one told me this when we made the plans to come back for the other shot. They said it was the “corporate” policy. This is a chain not a regular vet clinic which I didn’t know and would never have chosen this place had I known when we recently moved here. They did end up not charging me the 2nd exam fee after I told them I’d find a new vet. Skip forward a couple of months and one of my dogs has a sore on her paw. I scheduled an appointment. Came in a few mins early to check in. I was told they were running more than 1 hour behind because of an emergency. i completely understand emergencies and tried to be cordial. I live 5 mins down the road so I offered to go home and come back in 55 ish mins so I didn’t have to lose 1 hour of work time (I work from home). I was told that I either needed to sit and wait for the 1+ hours or reschedule the appointment. So because they were behind more than 1 hour I have to sit in their waiting room and lose work time. This place is totally inconsiderate and I will be finding a new vet when the dogs need their annual exam/vaccines next year. Fingers crossed I don’t have to come back again for anything else before the year is up.
