If you are looking for a behavioral vet this office is not certified. We have a dog who is having extreme anxiety and I was told that they do not believe in medication because it does not work. We have had great benefits with medication and behavioral modification hand in hand with a dog who had severe resource guarding. If your dog is already over threshold they can not learn anything. If you need help with behavior look for a vet who is DACVB certified or in the process of going through their residency.

Welcome to All Paws Medical & Behavioral Center, located at 143 E Center St, Holts Summit, MO 65043, USA. You can contact them at phone number: (573) 896-4040 or mobile phone: +1 573-896-4040. Categorized as a "Pet Hospital," this center appears to offer a combination of medical and behavioral services for animals.

Based on the provided customer reviews, there are differing perspectives on the behavioral services offered. One reviewer expressed that the office is not certified in behavioral veterinary medicine (DACVB) and relayed being told that they "do not believe in medication because it does not work" for extreme anxiety in dogs. This reviewer, who had positive experiences with medication and behavioral modification for resource guarding, suggested looking for a DACVB-certified vet for behavioral issues.

In contrast, another reviewer had a very positive experience with puppy classes at All Paws Medical & Behavioral Center. They noted that the area is "well taken care of," with a cut lawn and a clean, well-maintained parking lot. The building's location off the road was seen as a safety benefit during puppy training. Inside, the facility was described as clean and a "great place to train," with puppy mess-safe floors. This reviewer highly praised Dr. Doering, stating she was "wonderful with the puppies" and has an "expert grasp of training and animal behavior." They appreciated her ability to spot individual personality differences and behaviors in the animals and found her training style valuable and unique.

Considering these reviews, the environment of All Paws Medical & Behavioral Center seems to be clean and well-maintained, both outside and inside. The facility is also designed to accommodate training activities, particularly for puppies. The positive review highlights a suitable and safe space for such classes.

The services offered appear to include medical care (implied by the "Medical Center" in the name) and behavioral services, including puppy classes. Dr. Doering seems to specialize in training and animal behavior, particularly with puppies. However, based on the negative review regarding the approach to anxiety management, it's important for pet owners seeking specific behavioral interventions, especially those involving medication, to inquire about the center's philosophy and expertise in those areas.

Features of All Paws Medical & Behavioral Center could include its clean and training-friendly environment, the expertise of Dr. Doering in puppy training and general animal behavior, and a potential focus on non-pharmaceutical approaches to behavioral issues, at least in some cases. The availability of puppy classes is a distinct feature mentioned in the positive review.

Currently, there is no promotional information provided in the reviews. Pet hospitals and veterinary centers often have promotions for services like vaccinations, spaying/neutering, or specific health months. To learn about any current promotions at All Paws Medical & Behavioral Center, it would be best to contact them directly.

For our local users in Singapore looking for a "Pet Hospital" that also addresses behavioral issues, the experience at All Paws Medical & Behavioral Center offers some insights. When seeking such services in Singapore, it's advisable to inquire about the qualifications of the behaviorist or veterinarian handling behavioral cases. Look for certifications or specific training in animal behavior if your pet has significant behavioral challenges. Also, understand the clinic's approach to behavioral management, including their views on medication, if that is a consideration for your pet.

The positive aspects highlighted in the review, such as a clean environment and effective puppy training, are also important factors to consider when choosing a pet hospital in Singapore. A well-maintained facility and knowledgeable staff contribute to a positive experience for both you and your pet. If you are interested in puppy classes or have general behavioral questions, finding a center with experienced trainers or behaviorists is key.

In summary, All Paws Medical & Behavioral Center in Holts Summit, MO, offers veterinary services that include medical care and behavioral support, notably puppy classes led by Dr. Doering. While one review suggests a divergence in their approach to managing severe anxiety (specifically regarding medication), another praises their training environment and Dr. Doering's expertise with puppy behavior. This is a great place. I came here for puppies classes X2. So let me start off by saying the area is well taken care of. The lawn is cut and the parking lot is kept clean and in good condition. The building is far enough of the road to not worry about losing a leash of a puppy during training. The inside of the building clean and a great place to train. The floors are puppy mess safe, thankfully we didnt have any issues. Dr. Doering was wonderful with the puppies. She has an expert grasp of training and animal behavior. She is keen to spot personality differences and behaviors in the animals. I liked her training style and felt like it was worth the time. The value of what she offered you will be hard pressed to find anywhere else.

When looking for a vet I want a friendly, knowledgeable and experienced vet. Immediately my pet was greeted by the receptionist and she put my puppy at ease. After a short wait the vet took us back and examined the puppy. She was amazing and gave a lot of advice and tips. Looks like I found a life long vet for my puppies

Dr. Mar and her staff are compassionate and caring in their treatment of my dog. I feel like they love my girl as much as I do.

Dr. Doering is amazing, so calm and competent. My cat's behavior was so horrible he was making our household a disturbed mess. I didn't know what to do and I knew my husband was ready to get rid of him. Dr. Doering in one visit was able to diagnose the problem and give me tips and tricks to improve his behavior. She has stuck with us and I have emailed her with follow up questions. Dr. Doering saved our household and kept our cat as part of the family. I can't thank her and her staff enough!!
