Dr Sung has been an absolute godsend for my foster dog. He is a herding breed dog, who is highly intelligent, but also very high energy. He was sadly placed in the wrong home, and the adopter returned him a month later, frightened and snapping fearfully. The rescue needed an independent professional to evaluate him to decide if he could be rehabilitated and successfully rehomed. Dr. Sung and her team assessed the dog, and were able to explain that some of the dog's behaviors were fearful, while others were simply attention-seeking, such as barking and jumping. They provided a detailed report and training methods to use in working with the dog in my home, to help his behavior improve. Three months of follow-up support is provided with the cost of the evaluation appointment, so I was able ask questions during follow up calls and emails. At followup visits, Dr. Sung assessed his progress and I got a refresher class at each one. I felt she really understood the dog as well as I did after having him in my home. He made dramatic improvements in the time we worked together, and I'm grateful for her guidance and reassurance during the entire process. We are now able to begin looking for the dog's forever home, something that was not possible for him just six months ago.

The primary service offered by All Creatures Behavior Counseling is the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral issues in pets, particularly dogs and cats. Dr. Sung, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and a Veterinary Behaviorist, brings a unique and highly qualified perspective to these challenges. Her expertise allows her to differentiate between behavioral issues stemming from fear, anxiety, or attention-seeking, as well as to understand the potential role of underlying medical conditions. Services include comprehensive behavioral evaluations, development of detailed reports outlining the causes of the behavior, and the creation of tailored training and behavior modification plans to implement at home. A significant feature of their service is the provision of follow-up support. The initial evaluation appointment includes three months of follow-up via phone calls and emails, allowing pet owners to ask questions and receive ongoing guidance as they work with their pets. Follow-up visits are also conducted to assess progress and provide refresher training, ensuring continuous support and adjustments to the treatment plan as needed.

A key feature of All Creatures Behavior Counseling is the exceptional qualification of Dr. Sung. As both a Veterinary Behaviorist and a licensed Veterinarian, she possesses a deep understanding of the interplay between physical and emotional health in animals. This dual expertise allows her to not only diagnose behavioral issues but also to prescribe necessary medications when indicated, with a thorough understanding of potential drug interactions – a significant advantage that even primary care veterinarians may defer to her on. Her clients consistently describe her as knowledgeable, dedicated, and prompt, highlighting her commitment to providing the best possible care. Furthermore, Dr. Sung's personal demeanor is praised as being incredibly nice and unassuming, fostering a comfortable and trusting relationship with pet owners during what can be a stressful time.

The level of support provided by ACBC is another standout feature. Clients express immense gratitude for the time and dedication of Dr. Sung and her team. Even when clients feel they have monopolized a significant amount of their time, the staff are consistently described as being there with a smile and the highest degree of compassion. This unwavering support and accessibility are crucial for pet owners navigating challenging behavioral issues with their animals, providing reassurance and guidance throughout the process. The value of the services is also highlighted; while the charges might initially seem expensive, clients ultimately recognize the great value in the comprehensive evaluation, follow-up support, and the significant improvements seen in their pets' behavior.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information mentioned for All Creatures Behavior Counseling. Given the specialized nature of their services and the high level of expertise offered by Dr. Sung, their focus appears to be on providing quality, individualized care rather than broad promotional offers. However, the inclusion of three months of follow-up support with the initial evaluation can be seen as providing significant added value to the initial investment. I was referred to ACBC by my regular vet. I have a 1.5 year old Rottweiler. He's my 4th rottie so I knew something was off pretty early on but I thought patience, socializing, and training would overcome. Instead it got worse, fast. Dr. Sung is uniquely qualified to help my anxious boy. In addition to a Behaviorist, she's also an actual Vet and to that end she can prescribe the drugs she would recommend and is deeply expert in her understanding of them. My primary care vet, whom I love, defers to Dr. Sung on any prescriptions that could interact with Fluffy's treatment, and Dr. Sung been great to work with in that respect as well -- dedicated and prompt. She's also the nicest, most unassuming human I have met in a very long time. The clinic is tucked away in an easily accessible area of Kirkland, and is clean, sensible and very comfortable. The customer care from the office staff is unsurpassed. Dr. Sung herself is incredible. The charges seemed expensive at first, but then, once I started to work through the exercises, go to the rechecks, and experience the level of support, it was unquestionably a great value. I can't begin to tell you how much of their time I've monopolized and they're always there for me, with a smile on their faces and compassion of the highest degree. If you need a Behaviorist, I highly recommend ACBC. They are the finest compliment I can imagine to the quality Vet care that I already have.

BEWARE. Relocating to Bay Area after 1st of the year. Had to reschedule appointment for 12/14 and told that she would only see a new patient until February, then any need for another visit would have to be done on the ONE DAY a month that she will be here until June. What if the problem isn't resolved by then? Maybe it will be, but if they had provided this information when I made the appointment and forked over a NON-REFUNDABLE $150 deposit, then I could've made a decision. I likely would not have been comfortable with beginning a relationship that would be so limited going forward. Very deceptive and unethical. They had they information and chose not to share it. Shameful.
