All Care Pet Hospital

I just established care for my dog at All Care Pet Hospital and am so glad I did! The whole staff is kind, friendly, and genuinely cared for my pup. Dr. Ferguson was absolutely amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I work in the veterinary field and have only heard wonderful things about this hospital. I've been taking my senior dog here since Dec 2024. She's 12 and has needs some extra care. All of the staff has been wonderful. They're kind, compassionate, and highly knowledgeable. I called in tears because my dog was suddenly very sick. They suspected she was suffering from pancreatitis and recommended blood work to confirm. Tests results proved they were correct. They sent us home with an antinausea medication and special food. My dog was better within 48 hours. We still need the special food, so I stop by about once a month to purchase it from them. The staff are always amazing. My dog is 12 years old and is living her best life because of their care.

This review is specifically in regards to the care I received from Dr. Emily Jewell. I have been going to this vet clinic for about 2.5 years for the care of my dog. I moved here from another state and needed to switch vets. She is senior dog, 25 lbs, 15 years old, approaching the late stages in life. My dog has some health issues and Dr. Combs (who is great by the way) has been helping me with some medications to keep her more comfortable until it's time to peacefully put her down. I had to come in for a routine appointment in order to get her prescription refilled for her heart meds. Unbeknownst to me, I was scheduled with Dr. Emily Jewell who I've never personally met until today. Needless to say, I will NEVER schedule with this vet again. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I am surprised that this clinic has a vet like her on staff. She was extremely rude, lacked compassion, competence and basic handling skills. She wanted to listen to my dog's heart with a stethoscope and insisted on muzzling her! I have been taking my dog to the vet for 15 years of her life and NEVER had a vet muzzle her. I questioned this approach as I was concerned it would put undue stress on my already ailing dog and also she has no aggression history. She disregarded my concerns and insisted that in order to assess my dog to refill heart prescription meds she needed to use a technique to restrain her. She suggested an alternative method which involved her wrapping a towel around my dog's neck tightly and instructed the tech to hold her firm in that position so she could listen to my dog with the stethoscope. This whole time, I feel shocked and I'm having a hard time understanding why this is necessary. Meanwhile she's examining my dog in this way, who is struggling to breath and looks terrified; so much so, she looks like she's going to have a heart attack! I interrupted the process and told her to stop as my dog was being traumatized unnecessarily. I do not want Dr. Jewell putting her hands on my dog ever again.

Dr. Coombs and Caitlynn have been fantastic with my dog, making sure he's happy and healthy for the past year. They listen well, give achievable advice, and make sure I'm well informed. They've recently started caring for my newly adopted cat, and I couldn't be happier with their patience and care for her. Kassidy, who often handles their texting and billing, is a kind and caring person as well.

We're trying to re-home an older kitty at the moment, but she had several health issues that needed addressed first. I was worried that being curbside only was going to limit my interaction with the process, as I normally forget something about the cat or her issues and remember halfway through the visit. However, these people were on TOP of their professions. Someone was on the phone with me basically the whole time, and the staff was excellent with animals in general. You can really tell by the way someone talks if they've become too detached and clinical, or if they really care. These people really care. I'm incredibly happy we went with All Care, and our foster kitty is doing much better!
