Located at 2161 Hwy 48 N, Dickson, TN 37055, USA, this facility operates as a full-service "Pet Hospital," offering a wide array of medical, surgical, and preventive services for various animal companions. You can reach them by phone at (615) 446-7991 or via mobile at +1 615-446-7991.
The environment at All Animals Veterinary Hospital is designed to be welcoming, clean, and conducive to providing high-quality medical care while ensuring the comfort of both pets and their owners. Upon entering, clients would typically find a well-maintained reception area, equipped to manage check-ins and appointments efficiently. Examination rooms are private, providing a calm space for consultations, routine check-ups, and initial diagnostics. Given the name "All Animals," the facility likely includes specialized areas or protocols to accommodate different species, from common household pets like dogs and cats to potentially exotics or even some livestock, if their practice scope extends to them. The hospital would feature dedicated spaces for advanced diagnostics, including a laboratory for in-house testing (blood work, urinalysis, fecal analysis), and imaging equipment such as digital radiography and potentially ultrasound. For surgical procedures, sterile operating theaters equipped with modern anesthetic monitoring and recovery areas would be present. The overall atmosphere aims to project professionalism, expertise, and, crucially, a deep sense of care and empathy, particularly highlighted by customer reviews that speak to the staff's compassion during difficult times. Efforts are made to minimize stress for animal patients, creating a safe and reassuring environment for treatment.
The services offered by All Animals Veterinary Hospital are extensive, reflecting its role as a comprehensive "Pet Hospital." These services would encompass all aspects of modern veterinary medicine, ensuring a continuum of care for pets throughout their lives:
-
Preventive and Wellness Care: This foundational aspect includes routine comprehensive physical examinations, tailored vaccination protocols based on lifestyle and risk, effective parasite control (flea, tick, heartworm prevention, and deworming), and individualized nutritional counseling to support optimal health at every life stage.
-
Diagnostic Services: State-of-the-art diagnostic capabilities are crucial for accurate diagnoses. This typically involves in-house laboratory testing for immediate results (blood chemistry, complete blood count, urinalysis, cytology) and access to external laboratories for specialized tests. Advanced imaging, such as digital radiography (X-rays), is used for evaluating skeletal, thoracic, and abdominal conditions, and ultrasound may be available for more detailed soft tissue imaging.
-
Internal Medicine: Diagnosis and management of a wide range of complex internal diseases affecting various organ systems, including endocrine disorders (diabetes, thyroid issues), gastrointestinal problems, respiratory conditions, and dermatological issues.
-
Surgical Services: A full spectrum of soft-tissue surgeries, including spaying, neutering, mass removals, abdominal surgeries, and more complex procedures. All surgeries are performed with meticulous pre-surgical evaluations, advanced anesthetic monitoring, and comprehensive post-operative pain management and care.
-
Dental Care: Comprehensive dental services, including professional dental cleanings (scaling and polishing) under anesthesia, dental radiography to assess tooth roots, extractions of diseased teeth, and guidance on at-home dental hygiene to prevent periodontal disease.
-
Emergency and Urgent Care: During regular business hours, the hospital would manage urgent and emergency cases, providing immediate medical attention for critical conditions or injuries. For after-hours emergencies or highly specialized critical care, they would provide referrals to dedicated emergency veterinary hospitals.
-
Microchipping: A crucial service for permanent pet identification, significantly increasing the chances of reuniting lost pets with their owners.
-
On-site Pharmacy: For convenience, a well-stocked pharmacy would be available for filling prescriptions for medications, including antibiotics, pain management, anti-inflammatories, and chronic disease drugs.
-
End-of-Life Care: This is a particularly sensitive service, often highlighted by client reviews, which includes compassionate euthanasia services, counseling for grieving pet owners, and assistance with cremation and urn arrangements. The reviews specifically praise their "compassion for when we had to put her to sleep" and help with "all arrangements with cremation & urn."
The features that set All Animals Veterinary Hospital apart are strongly reflected in its name and client testimonials. The "All Animals" aspect implies a readiness and capability to care for a wider variety of species beyond just dogs and cats, which is a significant differentiator in many areas. These examples demonstrate a practice where genuine care for animals and their human companions is paramount, going above and beyond to provide comfort, clarity, and support, especially during challenging times.

Nov 05, 2024 · Mickey FreemanAbsolutely wonderful. Staff is extremely nice could not ask for better veterinarians the assistance are absolutely awesome very compassionate and friendly and helpful I highly recommend this place to take your little loved one
Sep 06, 2024 · Bambi WindrowHave given them 4 chances and each one was worse than the last. They only care about money, they absolutely do not care about the animal's well being. None of the staff seem happy to be there, and they absolutely discriminate against breeds, even if they "see" every one, you can tell they show judgement and give minimal care to the ones they deem "lesser".
Feb 21, 2025 · SD JI LOVE this place. Don't get me wrong - there times you're ABSOLUTELY going to wait even past your appointment time. However, i won't go anywhere else. I had a Rotti who was very reactive under anxiety and stress. He recently passed in December and ever since we started seeing him they were so KIND. They weren't intimated, they were still gentle, and still baby talked him but sternly like a toddler lol! Dr. Austin and the techs there are absolutely wonderful. They're patient and they always give all information uo front. They also made the euthanasia process as easy as it could be for us. I've had my dachshund also spayed here and they did such a wonderful job...she doesn't even have a scar. ❤️❤️ Will not see any other vet.
