I love this clinic. First of all, I appreciate that it is a cat dedicated space. While I love dogs and all animals, it can be really stressful for a cat to sit in the waiting room next to dogs and I appreciate them not having to go through that. Which leads me to the next thing I love about this place: usually when you arrive, you are escorted into a room with your kitties and they get time to decompress in a quiet space. You don’t hang out in the waiting room for even a minute! But what I love most (aside from the decor, the obvious love for cats, how quickly they answer any calls and emails, the lovely staff at the front desk and the cute cat decor…) is that they truly care for the cats and are incredibly kind and knowledgeable. The vet always spends a lot of time with us, explaining everything and going in to detail about why she is doing things. They take the time to listen and will guide you so you can do what’s best for your kitties. Thank you for always taking care of us! 💚

All About Cats Veterinary Hospital Introduce
Welcome to All About Cats Veterinary Hospital, your dedicated "Pet Hospital" located at 6501 132nd Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98033, USA. As the name suggests, our clinic is exclusively focused on providing the highest quality veterinary care for cats. We understand that felines have unique needs and can experience stress in environments with other animals. Therefore, our cat-only practice is designed to create a calm, comfortable, and stress-free experience for your beloved feline companions. For cat owners in Kirkland and the surrounding areas, All About Cats Veterinary Hospital offers a specialized approach to pet healthcare.
One of the most distinctive features of All About Cats Veterinary Hospital, and a point frequently praised by our clients, is our commitment to being a cat-dedicated space. Unlike traditional veterinary clinics that cater to a variety of animals, our hospital exclusively treats cats. This eliminates the potential stress that can arise for felines when they are in close proximity to dogs or other species in the waiting room. By creating a cat-only environment, we aim to minimize anxiety and make the entire veterinary visit a more positive experience for your furry friend.
Further enhancing the low-stress environment is our unique approach to appointments. Upon arrival at All About Cats Veterinary Hospital, you and your cat are typically escorted directly into an examination room. This means that you can bypass the waiting room altogether, allowing your kitty to decompress in a quiet and private space from the moment you arrive. This thoughtful procedure helps cats feel safer and more secure, ultimately leading to a more relaxed and cooperative patient during examinations and treatments. This efficient and considerate approach is a testament to our understanding of feline behavior and our commitment to their well-being.
Beyond the specialized environment and efficient process, what our clients consistently rave about is the genuine care, knowledge, and compassion of our veterinary team and staff. From the lovely individuals at the front desk who promptly answer calls and emails to our experienced veterinarians, a clear love for cats permeates every aspect of our practice. Clients appreciate the time and attention our veterinarians, such as Dr. Lester and Dr. Zaback, dedicate to each appointment. They are known for thoroughly explaining everything, detailing the reasons behind their procedures, and taking the time to listen to your concerns. This commitment to clear communication and patient education empowers you to make informed decisions about your cat's health and treatment plan.
Dr. Lester has been recognized for providing excellent care to long-term patients, building trust and rapport with both the cats and their owners. Similarly, Dr. Zaback's keen observation skills and thoroughness have been credited with early detection of serious health issues, as highlighted in a heartfelt review detailing the diagnosis and subsequent compassionate care for a beloved cat named Moses. This instance underscores the importance of a dedicated and attentive veterinary team in identifying and managing complex feline health conditions.
At All About Cats Veterinary Hospital, we understand that navigating pet health issues, especially serious ones like cancer, can be emotionally and financially challenging. Our team is committed to providing clear and transparent information about treatment options, associated costs, and potential outcomes. We believe in presenting all available choices without pressure, allowing you to make the best decisions for your cat with our full support. We are here to answer your questions, guide you through the decision-making process, and provide ongoing support, regardless of the path you choose.
The review detailing Moses's journey also highlights the compassionate end-of-life care provided by our hospital. Losing a beloved pet is never easy, and our team understands the profound grief that accompanies such a loss. We are dedicated to handling these sensitive situations with the utmost care and love, providing a supportive environment for both the cat and their owner. The feedback from clients who have experienced this level of compassion reinforces our commitment to being there for you and your feline family member through every stage of life.
While the provided reviews do not mention specific promotional offers, it is common for veterinary hospitals to occasionally offer specials or programs. These might include discounts on routine preventative care packages, senior cat wellness programs, or introductory offers for new clients. Given our dedication to providing comprehensive feline care, we may offer tailored wellness plans designed to make essential services more affordable and accessible for cat owners. We encourage you to contact All About Cats Veterinary Hospital directly at (425) 636-8201 to inquire about any current promotions or wellness programs that could benefit your cat.
In addition to routine medical care, our cat-only focus allows us to develop expertise in feline-specific health concerns and treatments. Our veterinarians stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in feline medicine, ensuring that your cat receives the most current and effective care. This specialization can be particularly beneficial for cats with complex or chronic conditions that require a nuanced understanding of feline physiology and disease processes.
The consistent positive feedback regarding the welcoming decor and the obvious love for cats throughout the clinic further contributes to the stress-free environment we aim to create. Every detail, from the waiting room (which you thankfully bypass) to the examination rooms, is designed with the comfort and well-being of cats in mind. This thoughtful attention to the feline experience sets us apart and reinforces our commitment to being the best veterinary hospital for your kitty.
In conclusion, All About Cats Veterinary Hospital in Kirkland, WA, is a dedicated "Pet Hospital" exclusively for cats. Our unique cat-only environment, efficient appointment process, knowledgeable and compassionate veterinarians like Dr. Lester and Dr. Zaback, and our commitment to clear communication and supportive care make us the preferred choice for many feline owners in the area. Mar 18, 2025 · Jennifer CoxWe had our first visit here as a 'why not, it's down the road' back in 2016. After our first visit they became our main vet. Dr Lester takes excellent care of our orange opinionated Lister. Recently our baby kitty, Moses, went in for his physical and Dr. Zaback noticed something that turned out to be cancer at only 6 years old. Our options were presented very clearly to us, and all the costs were up front and balanced. I never felt pressured into any choices, and it was clear the staff would support us. I was able to call and ask questions and the doctors helped me through the decisions. After a few successful weeks of steroid treatment it was clear the time had arrived, and they handled everything with care and love for Moses. I felt supported and while it's never easy losing a fur baby, I never felt like I was alone. Best vet for your kitty ever!
Feb 28, 2025 · Amy RossI adore this vet. I've been going here since I moved to Redmond in 2016, and they have always been wonderful. They are welcoming, understanding, and thorough. The appointments take a bit longer, but that's because Dr. Zaback (or the other vets) take their time to fully discuss all issues with you, and give all options understanding how those options affect your lifestyle. Particular shout out to vet tech Kelsey who is amazing :) Highly recommend this vet!
Feb 12, 2025 · Stephanie SuerethI've been taking my cats to this clinic for 10 years now and Dr. Lester and his staff are all amazing people. Last week, we unfortunately had to have our nearly 19 year old cat put to sleep and our tech, Kelsey, went above and beyond to make us feel as comfortable as possible. She lightened the mood and had great memories of our cat, Pete, that she shared. Everyone there was kind and considerate, and they made an awful situation as smooth as we could have ever wished for.
Jun 04, 2024 · Stephanie PriceWe have been going to Dr Lester for over 20 years and we would not trust anyone else with our cats. Dr Lester is kind and thorough and one of the best vets in Seattle Kirkland area. The staff are friendly and helpful and the front desk is awesome! If you want someone you can trust take your cats to All About Cats Veterinary Hospital for the best care!
