Alejo Vet Clinic

I wish google could have more than 5 stars, Dr. Alejandro Moreno deserves 10 stars for what he did for my Labrador Beretta. To make my history short, Beretta ate a whole bone of a pork leg on Dec 25th and had a very serious stomach ace. I took her to my regular vet " Pet Lovers " in Tamiami and the doctor there after a few test, wanted to do surgery. I did not agree, so a good friend of mine told me to go to Alejo Vet Clinic for a second opinion. I got there and Dr. Alejandro spend a 40 mins time with me and Beretta checking her and making a plan to find out what was going on. Beretta spend there one day with Dr. Alejandro treatment and two days later she is totally recovered. Thanks so much to him and his team, they treated Beretta so nice and she is back home and happy. Since I had Beretta for the last 4 years, I have taken her to 3 different Vet and non of them treated me and my dog like Dr. Alejandro did. Now I know Am in the correct place. Totally recommend 100% this Vet.

My dog suddenly began urinating blood, and naturally, I got worried. I reached out to Alejo Vet Clinic, and to my relief, they were open past 1 pm on a Saturday. Not many clinics offer this convenience, and it's a significant advantage for pet owners with busy schedules or unexpected emergencies. Upon arrival, the staff at Alejo Vet Clinic was quick to attend to my dog's needs. The atmosphere in the clinic was calm and reassuring, contributing to a positive experience during a stressful time. Dr. Moreno, the attending veterinarian, demonstrated not only a high level of expertise but also genuine care for my pet. Dr. Moreno's thorough examination and clear communication about the diagnosis and treatment plan were comforting. The clinic's facilities were well-equipped, and it was evident that the staff prioritized the well-being of the animals under their care. Alejo Vet Clinic exceeded my expectations, providing prompt and effective care for my dog. Dr. Moreno and the entire team deserve commendation for their dedication to animal health and their commitment to being available during extended hours, including weekends. I highly recommend Alejo Vet Clinic to pet owners seeking reliable and compassionate veterinary services.

My coworker recommended this clinic today. I called in the morning and they were able to see me this evening. I went with my cat and when I first entered, I noticed the cleanliness immediately. No overwhelmingly unsavory scents greeted me but the friendly receptionist did. As it should be. I was ushered into an (equally clean) exam room, explained my pet’s situation to the vet tech (who was also friendly and professional) and then Dr. Alejandro entered. He was just as lovely as my coworker said. He listened to me, advised me, explained things to me and treated my cat as he would his own. I felt very comfortable with the Dr.’s treatment plan. My cat….well, I’m not so sure lol. Overall, I will DEFINITELY be returning to this clinic, probably sooner rather than later. They have unknowingly gained a whole TRIBE of pets into the Alejo Veterinary Clinic family! Bring your pets you will not be disappointed!

I was in Miami and needed a vet for one of my cats who has hyperthyroidism. We needed to re-evaluate her med dosage and all. I looked around on Google maps near where I was, and this place stood out. I could not be happier to have chosen AlejoVet! They took such good car of her and us. I love that they take the time to explain things, answer questions, and really give information needed. My cat recently got diagnosed and since then it was me trying to understand on my own. I wasn't even given any other options then the meds. I was so happy he took the time to explain what it was, the other possible options and printed out articles I could read, Without even asking!! I left Miami but had issues with getting another bottle and ended up calling for help twice. They gladly helped! I only wish I would've brought my other cat for a check up before leaving. 😕 If I'm back near one day.. you can expect a call for a visit from us. 😄🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

Staff is friendly, but the vet takes it to a step above. Every other veterinary office I have taken the dog to has tried to muzzle her or to sedate her. He didn't do anything but earn her trust and love on her, and then he took care of her!
