This vet office is amazing. They helped my family fur baby cross the rainbow bridge. They also helped in the process of cremating my dog that suddenly passed away at home a while back. My kids were there when our cat was euthanized and although sad it was an good experience. The kids said it was so calm and peaceful. Our little guy Gibson is missed so much, but we are glad he is no longer in pain and had a peaceful passing. I would definitely recommend this vet!! Everyone in the office is compassionate and caring!!

Beyond grateful for Albany Count Vet. I started taking my dog Bailey here when I got him as a puppy and I was in med school. Four years and another dog later, I am so glad I found them. All of the staff--reception, vet techs, veterinarians--have been consistently kind, knowledgeable, accommodating, and non-judgmental. I'm very particular about my dogs' care, and as a (human) medical professional, I have a good sense of what's reasonable and what's not. I have always felt very comfortable and like my dogs are in great hands here--Albany County Vet is a wonderful choice for anyone with a furry family member.

Dr. Pokorny and Michelle are absolutely phenomenal. The level of care they have for my dog is truly amazing. They constantly go above and beyond to be sure my pet gets the best care. They are very gentle , kind and patient. You can tell they love what they do. 5 stars all around.

I have been bringing my cats here for years. My one kitty is still alive only because of the love and care this practice has for animals. Porkchop and I thank you for giving us the best quality of life we can have together. I recommend them to everyone i can. Edit: I had to put porkchop to sleep this Friday. He had sudden acute kidney failure. Dr Pokorny was amazing during the procedure. I've never had to do this, and she was so comforting and understanding. I'm glad I had as long as I did with him, thanks to them. I've never been to a better practice. Goodbye Porkchop, I love you so much, and I hope I can stop crying soon.
