My experience with them was terrible. They rescheduled my appointment over the phone once and I was completely okay with that. On the rescheduled day I sat in line for almost an hour to drop my cat off and my partner had to get off of work 2 hours early to pick him up. At pick up time I got a call saying they just couldn’t get to his surgery today. They offered to throw in a free microchip if I rescheduled a second time, but they could not guarantee that they could get to his surgery that day either. They did give me a refund, but that doesn’t make up for all of the time my partner and I wasted taking our cat to and from the appointment. An appointment should guarantee a surgery. My cat was also terrified when picked up and making sounds that he has never made before. I don’t know what conditions the cats are kept in while there, but my cat should not have been as scared as he was. The women who I spoke to over the phone told me “I am not the one to get mad at, I don’t perform the surgery” and that rubbed me the wrong way. If you are the person delivering disappointing news, you need to be okay with taking responsibility for it. Even if it is “not your fault” it is your job.

Alabama Spay Neuter Clinic Inc Introduce

Welcome to the local introduction of Alabama Spay Neuter Clinic Inc, a pet hospital located at 2721 Crestwood Blvd, Irondale, AL 35210, USA. You can reach them at (205) 956-0012 or their mobile number +1 205-956-0012.

As a dedicated pet hospital, Alabama Spay Neuter Clinic Inc primarily focuses on providing spay and neuter surgeries for cats and dogs. This service is crucial for controlling pet overpopulation and offers various health benefits for your beloved companions.

Based on customer feedback, experiences appear to vary. One customer reported significant issues with appointment scheduling and perceived stress in their cat post-pickup, despite receiving a refund. This suggests that while the clinic offers essential surgical services, there might be inconsistencies in their scheduling and post-operative care communication.

On the other hand, another customer had a positive experience, describing the staff and service as "great" and even comparing their drive-thru experience to "the Chick-fil-A of Veterinarian drive-thru." This positive review also hints at a potentially efficient drop-off and pick-up system. This customer also advised arriving 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled time.

It's important for local pet owners to consider these contrasting experiences when deciding on veterinary care for their animals. While Alabama Spay Neuter Clinic Inc offers specific and important services like spay and neuter surgeries, individual experiences can differ significantly.

For local users seeking a pet hospital for spay and neuter services, Alabama Spay Neuter Clinic Inc is an option to consider. We encourage you to weigh the available information, including the provided reviews, and potentially contact the clinic directly to inquire about their environment, specific service procedures, and current promotional offers to make an informed decision about your pet's care.

Things have definitely changed there since the last time I took my cat there. They used to give you pain medication for your pet which that was included in the total price. Now it’s an additional $30. It’s like an assembly line and next time I’ll take my pet to a regular Veterinary office. We used to go inside and one lady would explain everything. Now you don’t get out of your car and people are shoving papers at you which should have already been taken care of because I filled the forms out online. Then when I pick them up they didn’t include pain medication??

THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS IVE EVER SEEN! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. From the beginning this place didn’t seem right as it was terribly organized. We took our cat to get neutered and later on at pickup as we’re in the line we received a call saying our cat was never fixed due to them being short a doctor and staff callouts. From the beginning to seems they overly booked with cars running down the road for drop off. They don’t even have the curiosity to call and tell you your cat can’t be fixed due to their own business problems. Instead they decide to leave our cat in a cage ALL day for 8 hours in distress with no call. This is extremely unprofessional! When picking up our cat he was in terrible distress with his heart racing, awfully shedding, and drooling from the mouth. When asking them why we didn’t receive a call or text they respond with “ well I just got here at 1:30 so I couldn’t tell you…” with the worst attitude possible and non caring. Overall we should have received a call hours before saying he can be picked up and they can’t so the procedure. Safe to save we decided to go to another vet . IF I COULD TURN IN SOMETHING FOR THIS PLACE TO BE SHUT DOWN I WOULD.
