Dr. Eva and her team provide amazing services. We came in on March 14th for a consultation. Our dog has a terminal illness and has also been battling severe arthritis for a few years. During our session our dog did hydrotherapy, acupuncture and had a nice relaxing massage by Dr. Eva. Our pup is not a big fan of water but the staff treated him with kind smiles and helped him feel confident about the water treadmill exercises. I am pretty sure his most favorite part was getting all the tight muscle knots loosened up by Dr. Eva. She was very welcoming and friendly, our dog could not resist. It was a remarkable experience, seeing our pup enjoy the therapy brought us so much joy so thank you Dr. Eva & team.

One of the key aspects highlighted in the customer reviews is the exceptional care and attention provided by Dr. Eva and her team. Their approach emphasizes making pets feel comfortable and confident throughout their therapy sessions. This is particularly noteworthy in the case of a dog undergoing hydrotherapy who was initially not fond of water. The services offered at Aiken Pet Fitness and Rehabilitation are diverse and tailored to address various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions in pets. Based on the customer reviews, these services include:
Hydrotherapy: Utilizing a water treadmill, this therapy helps to improve strength, range of motion, and cardiovascular fitness with reduced impact on joints. The positive experience of a water-averse dog suggests a skillful and patient approach to this modality.
Acupuncture: This traditional Chinese medicine technique involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate healing and pain relief. Its inclusion in the treatment plan indicates a holistic approach to pet wellness.
Massage Therapy: Performed by Dr. Eva, massage helps to relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote relaxation. One customer specifically mentioned the effectiveness of massage in loosening tight muscle knots, bringing significant comfort to their dog.
Non-invasive Treatments: One compelling review highlights the success of non-invasive methods in helping a dog recover and regain mobility, even after a primary veterinarian recommended surgery. This suggests that Aiken Pet Fitness and Rehabilitation offers effective alternatives for certain conditions, potentially avoiding more invasive procedures.

The successful outcome of non-invasive treatment for a dog who was recommended for surgery underscores the potential benefits of seeking a second opinion and exploring rehabilitative therapies. The fact that the dog now enjoys going to physical therapy and actively pulls towards the building speaks volumes about the positive association created with the clinic.

Apr 24, 2023 路 Rebecca OliverThe folks at Aiken Pet Fitness and Rehabilitation are fantastic. They take the time to make sure your pet is comfortable before they do anything, making something that could be stressful for your pet into something they enjoy. Our primary vet recommended surgery for our dog but I wanted a second opinion. Aiken Pet Fitness was able to help our pup with non invasive methods and he's running around like a puppy again! Plus, he enjoys his time at PT and pulls me into the building every time! Highly recommend.
Feb 15, 2023 路 Hope HartmanThis staff is amazing. Helpful, friendly, and understanding. The vet is amazing how she gives the dogs a hands on exam over their entire body. She works magic with my injured visyla and arthritic red heeler. Wish I had a doctor for me that caring and healing!
