My sweet senior girl was sick, so I brought her here. After some testing, it was determined she was in kidney failure. We chose a path forward to push some fluids and see if she could rebound. They kept her for a few days until it was evident she wasn’t going to get any better. I was able to bring her home for two days before it became evident that it was her time. I went back to the office so she could cross the Rainbow Bridge. I cannot say enough about this amazing group of people. Every doctor, tech, and staff member were absolutely phenomenal. So kind and caring. They really wrapped us in love, and I so wish they also had a regular vet practice. Highly recommend. Thank you.

These comments suggest that Affiliated Veterinary Emergency Service prioritizes creating a supportive and reassuring atmosphere for both pets and their worried owners during emergency situations.

Services and Features:

Based on the experiences shared by customers, Affiliated Veterinary Emergency Service offers several key services:

  • Emergency and Urgent Care: The very name of the service indicates their primary function. The review about the dog with a severe ear infection needing immediate attention on a Sunday morning perfectly illustrates their role in providing urgent care when regular veterinary clinics might be closed.
  • Diagnostic Services: The first review mentions "some testing" that led to the diagnosis of kidney failure, indicating their capability to perform necessary diagnostic procedures to assess a pet's condition.
  • Treatment Administration: The care provided to the senior dog with kidney failure included pushing fluids, showcasing their ability to administer treatments and manage critical conditions.
  • Euthanasia Services: The compassionate handling of the end-of-life process for the senior dog is evident in the first review. The reviewer specifically praised the team for their kindness during this difficult time, highlighting their sensitivity and support in such situations.
  • Medication and Instructions: In the case of the ear infection, the vet tech not only treated the dog but also took the time to educate the owners on how to properly clean the ears and administer medication, demonstrating a commitment to thorough care and client education.

While the prompt mentions "goods for sale," the reviews don't explicitly detail retail sales of pet supplies or medications. However, as an emergency veterinary service, they would likely dispense necessary medications as part of the treatment provided. The focus here is clearly on the immediate medical needs of the animals.

Customer Feedback and Features Highlighted:

  • Affordable Fees: The comment that "the fee for services was very affordable" in an urgent care setting is particularly noteworthy and suggests that they strive to provide accessible emergency care.

Our sweet dog had a terrible ear infection that could not wait until after the weekend to be seen. Every person in this office was kind professional and caring with us even though she is not a regular patient. We walked in on Mother’s Day Sunday morning at 9:15 am and had the best experience I’ve ever had in an urgent care veterinary situation. The front desk team, the doctor, and Henry the vet tech (who showed us how to clean her ears and properly administer the medication) were all excellent. On top of it all, we barely had to wait and the fee for services was very affordable. Thank you all so much for helping River, we are really grateful and will recommend your office to others!

I brought in my cat Bentley after he hurt himself climbing onto my dresser. I was okay waiting a little longer given there were many other patients with more critical emergencies. I’m glad they put them first. The staff were great, friendly and okay answering any questions. The lady who took us in the office to ask us what happened was great. Patient, answered questions and was so kind . Dr Rockett was amazing. Caring, honest and helpful. It was a good experience. Thank you !!

I came in around 6:30 pm on a Friday. The receptionist on the phone was very nice and professional, laying out the next steps and expectations. I brought my dog Abby in due to an accident that hurt her hind leg. Although the wait times were long, I fully understood that this was an emergency vet, emergencies took precedence, and there was an actual emergency while I was there. The vet tech Lindsey was awesome. Very caring and friendly. She took good care of me and Abby. Dr. Adam Iser examined Abby but couldn't establish where her pain was coming from. Although not a recommendation of his, I insisted on blood work and x-rays to rule out any broken bones. Luckily, no broken bones were found. After about 4 hours, we left the vet with pain pills, anti-inflammatory and tranquilizer medication, and the recommendation to restrict as much active as possible. After 5 days, Abby is no longer limping and is begging to get back to her Border Collie duties. Sorry, little girl...Doctor's orders. The only playing with the ball will be in your sleep.

My sweet Yorkie was postop two days from being spayed. She was very uncomfortable. Whiny wouldn’t let me touch her and just lay there and not moving around midnight. I call the emergency Affiliated hospital in Allen Park. They told me I can bring her in now. I was seen as soon as I walk in the door, they were waiting for her. The staff was very kind, gentle and accommodating, they had me in and out and about an hour. Now my sweet little Yorkie is back home and comfortable. I will always be thankful to the staff at the Affiliate Emergency hospital. I recommend to everyone if you have an emergency with your pet take them there. You will not regret it. They are number one for me.
