I was really nervous about anesthesia—my pup, Hazel Mae, is my best pal. From my very first phone call, Sharon put me at ease. She was so helpful and kind that by the time of our appointment, I felt like we were already friends. Hazel Mae usually doesn’t like the vet, but she went straight to Sharon and gave her kisses—I was shocked! Dr. Broome took so much time with us, explaining everything thoroughly, and it’s clear that he and the entire staff genuinely care about their patients. I’m so grateful for this amazing team. Thank you all so much for taking such good care of my girl!

While the duration required for the pet to recover from anesthesia was noted as an inconvenience, it was understood to be a necessary part of the process and not a fault of the center. The availability of insurance coverage, such as Trupanion, which covered a significant portion of the procedure, is also a beneficial factor for pet owners.
In summary, Advanced Veterinary Medical Imaging appears to be a leading facility for pet diagnostic imaging in the Tustin area, characterized by a caring and professional staff, clear communication, and the trust of referring veterinary clinics and pet owners who are willing to travel for their specialized services.

Apr 01, 2025 · Daria WendkosProfessional, courteous, and compassionate. They was super friendly and sweet and gave us good advice to take the early morning appointment so that our doggie can go home eat afterwards. If we had chosen the afternoon appointment, our doggie would have to wait all day (the starving-stare.) They were recommended by my WestLA clinic. It was a long drive from Santa Monica to this center. Then we had to plan 4 hours to kill till our doggie was ready to be released from full anesthesia. This was the biggest inconvenience but that's not the center's fault. But my point is that we were willing to drive far to get seek of the best veterinary imaging specialists. Our Trupanion insurance plan paid for 90% of the procedure, less the deductible. Thank God.
Jun 10, 2024 · Henry TingI took my cat Jade here for a CT scan of her head and neck for chronic rhinitis. Everyone was amazing, I’m so pleased that I chose to bring my pet here. Dr Karen O’Neill goes above and beyond and I highly recommend her. I would never hesitate to come here again should the need arise
Dec 21, 2024 · JULIA VELCITook my doggy to get scans, and biopsy. They took three samples from her face and stitched her up. Painful process for my dog. They returned without any conclusive results, so seems to me like it was a waste of time and money. Had to bring her to another vet to run test results from that biopsy. According to the vet they requested biopsy samples from advance veterinary and had a difficult time receiving. I don’t recommend this place.
Jan 07, 2025 · carlos reyesBe very careful when you make the decision to use radiation for hyperthyroidism. My vet recommended this place rather than the one in San Diego. My cat suffered for 6 months with esophageal burn before he died. This was devastating. Years earlier, another one of my cats had the same diagnosis and was treated with medication that caused him to develop hypertension. He, too, died but lived for two years. I thought I was making the best decision but obviously I did not. Again, think twice.
