I have never written a review but I wanted to make sure this team got their flowers. My two cats are patients, and I recently had to part ways with the older one. The entire staff was so incredibly patient, kind, and answered any and all questions I had (no matter how irrational they were). Knowing that the folks here took care of my sweet girl and have continued to take care of her even after she has passed has brought me so much comfort.

I bring my Chow Chow to Adams Morgan Animal Hospital for everything. Dr. Boone is the best, he is very sweet to my dog and is always spot on with diagnosis and treatment. The staff is also empathetic and I fully trust having my big fluff ball in their hands.

This is a wonderful, family-owned business full of people that truly care about your pet family. Also, Dr. Boone (Sr.) is the kindest, most thorough doctor I’ve ever encountered…if only we humans could get such good care! In times where so much vet/pet care is corporate, it’s nice to go somewhere that feels personal.

Been looking for a good vet for a few years, ever since Petworth Animal Hospital closed. Dr. Boone is great, obviously has tons of experience. Staff are great too. Pets cost money, so its super important that you can trust vets judgement about treatment options.

Exorbitantly priced!! I had two senior cats. One died in April 2022 and the price to put her down at District Vet Hospital was $169. Her brother died 18 months later and the Adams Morgan Animal Hospital charged me $556!!! There were no additional services provided between the two vets. I had been unemployed for over a year and the vet refused to even call me back to see if we could do a price adjustment (after I had taking my cat there for many years). Greedy business. Go elsewhere! Also, parking is a solid 30 minute ordeal, and you probably still won’t find legal parking in that neighborhood. Not worth the additional cost of a parking ticket.
