Adairsville Animal Hospital

I had a really great time at Adairsville Animal Hospital! They saw both of my cats same day for an exam and yearly shots. The doctor and techs also offered great advice on some issues my cats are having. They’re affordable and all the employees were so friendly and kind. Thank you so much for the great experience!

Everyone was very friendly. The vet suspects my doggie has cancer, but because he can't stay still it's hard to tell. She was very nice and soft spoken as well. My dog hates the vet, men, kids, etc and they accommodated all of that.

Adairsville animal Hospital’s customer service has apparently declined in the past few years & now has some of the RUDEST people I have ever met. Me & my family have used them since I was in high school, & back then always had a great experience/ didn’t have any problems. But unfortunately people at work tried to tell me things have changed, & They no longer use them because of the RUDE people upfront. But I made the mistake of going off of my past experiences with them & had My sister dropped my dog off for me and they told her they would text or call her phone when the dog was out of surgery ( ya know like they normally do & any other vet office does) they didn’t call until 15 minutes after pick up time saying that nobody ever picked up the dog and that we would owe a boarding fee when we picked them up the next day. Which is insane because how do you expect someone to pick them up when NOBODY was ever notified that they were out of surgery to begin with? ( Any other time we’ve used them, we’ve gotten a call or text) But yet the one time NOBODY was notified they were ready for pick it’s our fault??? Like excuse me , yall literally said you would TEXT when they were ready/ out of surgery. Plus their manager or whatever she is, is absolutely the RUDEST and most CONDESCENDING person I’ve ever met in a customer service position let alone a managing position at that. As we were leaving. She came basically chasing me out the door & was yelling snarky comments “ that’s a nice car for someone who had to go get an $85 certificate “ ( Mind you I have a 2016 Kia soo I don’t see what that has to do with the voucher I paid for… it’s not like I pulled up in a decked out BMW ) Last I checked I did My part & got my dog fixed.. so it doesn’t matter that I bought a voucher. THATS what they’re for lol So from now on me & my family will take our business ELSEWHERE. Ya know where the people are ACTUALLY NICE. I never had any problems out of any of the other vets I’ve used. They Definitely were way nicer than the lady’s that work here.

Called the office to ask about taking care of my deceased pet as we live in a neighborhood and don’t have a place to bury him. The front desk lady told me I would need to put him in the freezer or bring him in now! (….totally not necessary! Really?!?!?! Who does that to people that are already suffering from the loss of their pet?! I had an appointment and couldn’t bring him in until afternoon. Instead I chose a much more professional and caring vet to take care of my baby. And I’m so glad I went elsewhere! The process was so much better and empathetic at this other facility.

Dr. Johnson cares! She takes time to follow up on how well your pet is doing post surgery. The staff cares about your pets. They are very thorough and they take the time to explain when you have questions.
