Abingdon Square Veterinary Clinic

Just moved to New York this past weekend and needed to establish at a vet here. The facility is incredibly clean and the staff upfront is so nice. They are a fear free clinic which I love as well!! Dr. Park was thorough and kind. Aspen loved her and she is incredibly knowledgeable. In terms of pricing it’s the exact same as what I paid in ATL which was also a bonus.

I (and my pup) LOVE Abingdon! I adopted Uni when I lived in Chelsea 7y ago and after moving to BK soon after, I continued bringing him to Abingdon for so many reasons including — their clear and consistent communication, ability to book last minute appointments for emergencies, friendly and kind staff, lack of pressure to spend money on (potentially) unnecessary procedures or medications, and their willingness and capability to spend time talking/guiding you through difficult or confusing issues. We have worked with Dr Goldberg, Dr Park, Dr Burdon, and Dr Barnhart and every appt runs seamlessly as though we’ve only ever had one doctor the entire time. They clearly review their patient ahead of time! Their new location is so spacious and welcoming. I have never felt rushed or pressured here, and after hearing so many complaints about vets around the city from friends, I am so grateful to have such a great vet team!

We absolutely love this clinic! They are all super professional, respectful and friendly. They always listen to what you and your pet want / don’t want, and it is really on you if you think hardworking vets there are trying to get extra money from you... (I read a few negative reviews here and I find them extremely unfair and almost offensive…)

I recently brought my cat into Abingdon thinking she was having a but of an emergency health issue. It was my first time there and the front desk team was so incredibly kind and welcoming. They were able to see me and my kitty quickly and the vet and tech were so thorough and sweet. Thankfully my cat didn’t have any major issues but they performed a few diagnostics to rule out anything major and briefed me of costs and details before proceeding which I appreciate. The vet who saw us followed up the next day to check on my cat and provide further results. She spent quite a bit of time reviewing with me and answering all my questions. I can’t recommend this clinic enough and I am glad I established my cat there in case of any future needs. The office was also very modern and cute vs sterile and cold, which is nice in a stressful circumstance…

Great vets, here. They take excellent care of our pup. They are always thoughtful and kind with our beloved doodle, and we all appreciate it. The new facility is stylishly decorated and extremely pet friendly (as one would hope!). I highly recommend Abingdon Square Veterinary Clinic.

I've been coming to Abingdon Square Vet Clinic for over 10 years, the first doctor we had was Dr. De Lorenzo. We have had all wonderful and positive experiences; the doctors, vet techs and admin staff are always so courteous and professional and make us feel at home always. The staff at Abingdon Square is absolutely incredible. They are so compassionate, attentive, and go above and beyond for the pets in their care. They truly take their time to listen, and then walk through treatment options, and leave no stone unturned when it comes to concerns. I always feel 100% at ease, even with our very anxious and reactive pup, because the staff always make us feel like family and I know they care just as much about our pet’s health as us. We cannot thank the staff at Abingdon enough for everything they do, and we recommend them to everyone!

Dr. Goldberg is an incredibly skilled veterinarian. Our first dog has been under her expert care for several years. We moved to Connecticut ,we attempted to find a new vet, but none could match Dr. Goldberg's exceptional level of professionalism and knowledge. Recently, we had a new puppy join our family, and I am struggling to find a reliable spaying service in Connecticut! It may be worth the journey to the city to have Dr. Goldberg take care of her. She has a genuine love and concern for animals, truly passionate about her work. The vet tech, Jordon, is remarkable. They kept me informed throughout the entire procedure. When I picked up our puppy, Macchiato, she had been treated with care in a calm environment, showing no signs of distress. I am grateful to have discovered Dr. Goldberg at Abington. The new location on 6th Avenue in Abington is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The receptionists are friendly and accommodating to all customers. I believe traveling to Abington in NYC to see Dr. Goldberg is well worth it!
