I called before the clinic opened, leaving a message that explained my cat's symptoms and what they advised. I was offered an appointment for the afternoon the next day(today). It turns out these symptoms can be fatal, and my cat was in serious condition. He had to be rushed by my husband to an emergency veterinary clinic, as Abbott could not treat him beyond the examination/diagnosis. He just got out of surgery at the emergency clinic, and at the time of this post, we are still hoping he pulls through. When I called asking why we were not told we should consider emergency care given the symptoms I described, I was told by the office staff it's my responsibility to know what is an emergency and that it's not their responsibility. I was also told to "focus on your cat and not insignificant arguments", and "you're ridiculous". I was refused access to speaking to an office manager or anyone else, and then hung up on. I sent an email and a text; thus far there has been no response. When a pet could be dying, people deserve compassion. Never again will I take any animal to that clinic. I have had pets my whole life, and I have never experienced anything like this at any vet. My husband said Dr. Childs was somewhat kind during the examination, but she and her staff were overall dismissive. Her staff needs serious training, and the level of unprofessionalism was astounding. Nobody deserves to be treated like that.

We brought our 3 cats here for over 5 years. One of our cats was severely sick so we called over and over again and left many voicemails waiting for a call back. Not once did they respond to any of my voicemails about our cat. We ended up taking our cat to Route 66 animal hospital. Our cat got the help he needed and were able to save him. Not once did this clinic ever reach out to us. Never replied. So that’s how we know that after 5 years of us being loyal to them that they actually don’t care.

Arnold was very tentative to our needs. We put our cat to rest and the Dr and Arnold were so supportive and I genuinely appreciate their support and kindness. Great place to take your baby's ( pets). Even if it's a visit they will take good care of your family and work with you. Thank you Dr. And Arnold for your help.

After having a home vet for 20 years we moved on to Abbot from a referral from my daughter. They are amazing and very reasonably priced. We have three wiener dogs and two of them have been treated there with the utmost care and the employees all pass on warm and fuzzies. Great place!

Staff could be better communicating but the veterinarian herself has been definitely worth it. She's great
