Over the past year, the wonderful staff at 43rd animal hospital have taken care of my senior cat, Cosmo. He has a slew of health issues (with hyperthyroidism, heart murmur, and being a previous diabetic to name a few) and the staff has been incredibly caring and gentle when working with him. The techs take great care in being gentle with my guy, softly talking to him and helping him through the tough process of being poked and prodded for all of his tests and procedures. They have really earned their "fear free" status here. Additionally, the doctors are well informed professionals with the ability to explain feline conditions to a novice like me. If your pets quality of care really matters to you when going to the vet, this is the place to go. Thanks to everyone here for taking such good care of my best friend.

I have been going to 43rd Avenue Animal Hospital for over 20 years. My whole family goes there with all of our fur babies and each one receives excellent care. The staff and Dr. Strylie and Dr. Darmofal are gentle, caring and honest. It's pricey but worth the peace of mind.

First experience with them. I searched the internet for veterinary services within my area and their company populated and I am sure glad it did. The staff are EXTREMELY knowledgeable and a joy to work with. My dog Chewy was a little gun shy when first called back, but when it came time to leave he didn't want to go. I noticed an error on my invoice and Rachael immediately took care of it. What a breath of fresh air in todays world. I highly recommend their services being Dog or Cat.

Earl was Examined by a tech before seeing the Doctor. She made him feel comfortable in the exam office,/ so when the doctor came in he felt at ease. Everyone is exceptionally kind and willing to work with you and help you even get your pet back in the car if needed.

I've been going to this vet for 15 years. Back when I had my first dog I didn't have a single complaint. They were excellent, reasonably priced and the service was outstanding. When I returned after getting my a new dog 4 years ago I was met with a different experience. There prices had gone through the roof, and every visit I felt like I was being nickle and dimed. I got a puppy and had to get a million vaccines, each one coming with a "nurses exam fee" of $30 even though it took literally 5 seconds per visit. It felt like they just didn't care, which was a feeling I never got before. Their service had gone downhill, the waits were longer, and god forbid something happen to your pet and you need to get in to see your vet, because you'll get no consideration no matter how urgent how long you've been coming and how many thousands of dollars you've spent with them. So, its expensive, the service and the staff have really gone down hill, but I still have confidence in the vets and its a hassle to find a new vet, so I kept coming, and when I got a second dog I kept shelling out the high prices. But finally my limit was reached when this last week, in an attempt to register my dog, I requested his rabies certification. I called them on the phone and spoke to a front office worker not once, not twice, not three times, but FOUR times over the course of two weeks. I left messages on the phone. I sent emails. Every time I talked to someone I was told they'd email it to me. They never did. Its honestly baffling. I think I'm a patient and tolerant person, but this is something so simple and so important that its utterly unacceptable they can't get it together. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated. I'll get a new vet and just have to delay registering my dog until his next vaccine. Hope there are no fines! Edit for reply: this email is my junk account. The location is accurate. I'm done reaching out to you guys. I've done it a half dozen times
