The whole staff is incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate, always taking the time to answer my questions and address my concerns about Albert's health. During our visits, Dr. Bender has shown exceptional expertise in diagnosing and treating Albert, ensuring he receives the best care possible. The clinic is clean, welcoming, and equipped with everything needed for top quality. I appreciate how they treat pets like family, making each visit a positive experience. Dr. Bender is amazing! She has been my go to for my various class pets, both of the guinea pig and rabbit variety. She’s given great advice, care, and info for my babies! She even came and spoke to my ESL students, bringing animals with her to meet them! She works with avians (she loves birds) and exotics, meaning she’s the one for all your furry pocket pets, reptiles, and birds! Thanks for your care and love for my animals! I appreciate her care, and if I get a new exotic pet, I know who to seek out!

My rabbit had her spay surgery at 2nd Street and I am so impressed! Dr. Bender, the exotics vet, is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions before and after the surgery. She clearly knows a lot about exotic pets and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. The techs were so friendly and welcoming. They made me feel comfortable through the whole process. The hospital itself was also very nice and modern. My baby girl is doing great after surgery and she will definitely be going back for all of her regular bunny check-ups, along with my parrot and gecko!

I’ve been bringing my exotic pets (including ferrets and a snake) to Dr. Bender for a while, and I’ve always had a positive experience. She’s responsive and takes the time to answer any questions I have, whether it’s about my diet or care. Dr. Bender is knowledgeable about exotics and clearly has a good understanding of their needs. Dr, Bender provides excellent care not only to our rabbit, but also to us humans, who love him. Her medical expertise and ability to treat the multiple ailments and injuries he's had as he ages is outstanding. She is able to communicate her concerns and recommendations for care in a way that is both easy to understand that that truly makes you feel you are all working together for what is best for your pet. Dr. Bender's knowledge and compassion make her an excellent vet. I couldn't imagine bringing an exotic pet to anyone else. I recommend her to anyone seeking someone who truly cares for the welfare of all animals.
