I want to thank Dr Mindy for giving my grump to elderly dog a great experience. He is anxious fearful at the vet and they were able to accommodate and work around his fear. They were extremely patient and I am quiet impress, I think it’s safe to say she is a dog whisperer! She is our new favorite vet.

I’m new to Austin and had a horrible experience at my first vet here that was in Steiner Ranch. It’s amazing how hard it’s been to find a vet who cares about what they do and 2222 does! Take your pets here. They are an independent vet as well which I think helps the quality of care ( not a huge franchise). Dr Frank was very generous in many ways fixing the mess ups of the other vet experience I had here. It’s so hard to have your loved pets hurt by so called care givers. Thank you 2222 for helping my sweet JB!!

We have been using 2222 Vet Clinic since we moved to the area in 2020. We have and older dog and a puppy and both are very well taken care of every time we take them in. All the doctors take time the time to answer all my questions and make me feel at ease. The front desk staff are also very welcoming and sweet to our pups. We use 2222 vet clinic for routine checkups, sick visits, and baths. We have also had to have a surgery with our older dog there and Dr. Frank did a wonderful job with our dog and made us feel very comfortable with all the details.

I don't generally write bad reviews but these people have disappointed me too many times. I have a sick and panicked dog who is wheezing and having a hard time breathing. I live approximately 5 minutes from the office. I was told I could drop him off and they would get to him sometime today, which would just panic him more, or I could wait till Monday. Neither option is even close to a decent alternative. The first gentleman I talked this morning said since I lived so close they might be able to call me when they had an opening and I could bring him in. Either the vet shot this down or the person who called me back just didn't care to go to the trouble. Last year, after 2 years of of being told "it might be a good idea to get a teeth cleaning at some point", I made the appointment. they ended up having to extract 14 teeth as the decay had spread from tooth to tooth over the years. My treatment estimate from 2 weeks before had 2 extractions noted as possible. That was the first time an extraction was ever even mentioned. Upon informing me of the extensive and painful work needed due to their incompetency, the owner attempted to make excuses because "it was the other vet in the office". I later learned he happened to be her husband. To their credit, they only charged me based on the original estimate but put the dog through unneeded trauma and pain.

Mickey had dental surgery and had nine teeth extracted. He is recovering well, and I appreciate the multiple follow-up calls after the procedure. The vet, Mindi, took the time to explain everything in detail without rushing, which I really valued. The staff and technicians provided exceptional care, and when the final cost was higher than expected, they offered a payment plan, which was very helpful. I’ve already noticed an improvement in Mickey’s breath and behavior
