Last night when I got home I Had a panic attack when I saw that my 1 year old puppy got into Tylenol. Naturally, I googled if it’s harmful for dogs, because I’ve never experienced this before and found out that it can cause liver damage and a few other things. Because of this, I brought her in immediately while I was on the line with poison control so they could assess and then talk to the vet on the best form of treatment and they took really good care of me, but they also took really good care of my girl. They were very communicative and respectful. They have a system that allows you to text which is just their phone number and your dog is associated to you. They’re able to send photos so that was really relieving because my dog had to stay overnight and it was the most anxiety felt night that I had but they were able to still send me updates if I woke up and asked questions on how she was doing. The level of care respect and again communication in an emergency is truly appreciated. I hope I don’t have another emergency, but if I do, I know where to go.

Dec 23, 2024 · kelly kauffman1st pet has always been amazing for me and my three dogs. Whether they are sick, or hurt, or need just regular wellness care I always have such a great experience here with all of the staff and I always feel like my dogs are in great hands. Especially my large German Shepherds, that can be a challenge to handle sometimes.
Nov 27, 2024 · christyu2I cannot thank 1st Pet enough for their incredible staff. I took my senior dog, Barley, in distress last night, and the staff took such amazing care of us both. He did pass peacefully, but I will be forever grateful to everyone who was there last night. The kindness and empathy I was shown in my scariest moments as a Dog mom will always be remembered.
Jan 03, 2025 · Kassi RifeLast night, my pup’s distress left me feeling helpless. Despite my groomer’s suggestion to visit the vet, I hesitated. When his condition worsened, I rushed to Canyon State Veterinary Hospital, hoping for quick assistance. The front desk staff were kind, but the lengthy wait, excessive paperwork, and the unsettling policy of separating pets from their owners left me frustrated. Desperate for a better option, I discovered 1st Pet Veterinary Centers North Valley. My visit was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calming, and the front desk staff exuded warmth. The contrast with my previous experience elsewhere was remarkable. Dr. Lunt went above and beyond, demonstrating genuine care and understanding. Sitting on the floor with my pup and turning the chair my way showed a level of empathy and respect that left a lasting impression. The waiting room was not just a space; it was a comforting environment, complete with thoughtful amenities like snacks and water. Choosing 1st Pet Veterinary Centers North Valley was the right decision. The entire experience, from start to finish, felt personal and compassionate. This is now my preferred choice for my dog’s care, and I highly recommend it to others seeking exceptional veterinary services.
Jan 21, 2024 · Lina MThrough one of the saddest moments I’ve ever experienced, I couldn’t have asked for a better team. I brought my sweet kitty Cali in because she had become very sick. She was young and full of life and became sick overnight. Within minutes of walking through the door, she was rushed to the back to receive immediate help. The vet we had- Amy Gassman was wonderful. She took exceptional care of my girl during her last hours. Amy spent time with us to explain everything as it happened and was very proactive to bring Cali back to health. After doing testing and reviewing all of our options, we sadly decided what was best for our kitty was to put her to sleep so that she wouldn’t have to suffer. Although this was the most challenging decisions to ever make, this team offered us the best support I could have ever imagined. Jessica took time with us to walk us through the process and treated Cali as if she were her own pet. Tina gave us exceptional resources and followed up with me through the grieving process. I never would have thought I’d be able to write a positive review about the place where I had to walk away without my pet. But this staff treated us like their own family, with so much kindness. Huge thank you to Amy, Jessica, Tina and all of the staff at 1st Pet Vet for making this experience as positive and loving as possible. Thank you for taking care of my Cali girl. You made a mark on me that I will never forget.
