I can't say enough good things about Dr. Fuentes and his staff. I would give 10 stars if I could. Our cat was in horrible pain on a Sunday afternoon, smacking his mouth and crying. We took him to an ER vet who prescribed him pain meds and told us he wasn't sure if anyone could help due to our cat's age and health condition(18 y/o with CKD). We got home and the pain meds did nothing. He was still crying and smacking his mouth. I frantically searched online for dental specialists and found this one, the only one with an emergency number. I left a voicemail and within an hour one of the staff, Ana, called back. Ana recommended getting stronger pain meds and told us what to ask for. We went to another ER and were given the stronger meds. The difference was like night and day. Our cat was eating, drinking and playing that same night. We made an appt. for a consultation first thing on Tuesday morning. They recommended immediate surgery. Everyone was so kind and reassuring and told us our cat's age and CKD would not be a problem. And Dr. Fuentes told us he would call during the surgery to let us know how it was going. Most of our cat's teeth had to be extracted. Not only was the surgery a success, we were able to take him home by 4 pm that same day! It's only 2 days later and he is livelier than he's been in months and eating more than he has in ages. This place was an absolute lifesaver. From Ana calling us on a Sunday to having the surgery two days later. Yes, it's expensive, but we only want the best for our baby.

This review is long overdue. Although I can’t review the dental service, it’s because of Dr. Fuentes’ thorough pre-op testing we discovered our Doberman had DCM. We declined the service after weighing the risks and opted with spoiling her knowing her time with us was limited. The entire time, Dr. Fuentes and his team were beyond kind, patient, informative, and accommodating while we figured out why her labs were abnormal and made a decision. I would not hesitate to bring our other pets to Dr. Fuentes. I undoubtedly trust them with our four-legged family members and you can too.

Dr Feuntes saw my dog who had 3 broken canine teeth after being attacked by another dog. After his examination, he gave us a quote for 3 root canals and 3 crowns for a total of $15,000. After making the decision to get a second opinion, I found out he did not need root canals after all and even if he did it would be no more than $9000. Please think twice and get a second opinion if considering using this doctor. Trying to take advantage.

Dr Fuentes and the Team at Veterinary Dental Services are a compassionate, very talented, and knowledgeable team! My 16 year old kitty was having a lot of trouble eating and was losing weight over the last year and I thought we were near the end. Dr Fuentes identified that my cat had a condition called Feline Oral Resorptive lesions affecting almost ALL of his teeth, causing pain and infection. He also diagnosed an oral fistula affected his upper canine tooth. The Team here did some extensive dental work and I am so happy to report that my cat ate a full meal THAT EVENING and looked very comfortable! My heart is so full and I am so happy that this AMAZING Veterinarian diagnosed and treated my cats problem and saved my best friend. It is so obvious he feels so so much better and I am excited to have my old snuggle buddy back to his normal self! Thank you Dr Fuentes and the amazing Team at Veterinary Dental Services! My heart is so FULL!

Amazing team that answers all the questions, doesn't push to do anything and cares about your pet. It's not cheap but that's what happens when you go to a specialist. Very happy with my choice!
