Dr. Patino is the most knowledgeable and caring vet in Miami. I took my baby girl Gisoo to nearly 10 different vets in South Florida and none of them were as compassionate as Dr. Patino. She had the heart and curiosity to take on a complicated case and was willing to drive 3+ hours in traffic to treat her. After just 1 session she was able to get her nystagmus to stop. She is very invested in her patients and cares more about the quality of time she has with her patients as opposed to the quantity of patients she sees in a day.

Dr. Patino is an incredible person and an incredible vet. She treated my fur baby for about a year. Honestly, we did not think Poochie had much time left however, with Dr. Patino’s help she lived another year. Dr. Patino gave her quality of life for the time she had remaining. Dr. Patino came into our lives when we needed a miracle and she answered with compassion and expertise.

Dr Maria Patino was really amazing and true blessing to us. She was extremely compassionate, caring and gentle with our fur baby and was very supportive to us humans too. Our dog knew that she was there to help him and welcomed her treatments. He was a bossy and sometimes a grumpy old man but she was able to read and adapt to his moods. She followed up to see how he was getting along, requested photos and videos so she could observe him when we went on vacation in Maine. Most importantly, she was there when we needed her the most We had to make a difficult decision because he took a turn for the worst and she was just wonderful through it all. I would highly recommend her because she helped our Senior Boy so much. Thanks to her, he received relief from his pain and able to walk better. I am certain he would not of been with us as long as he was if it was not for her. Without a doubt, I will call on her again if I had another pet that needed her services. We have such gratitude for Dr. Maria Patino of True Balance who has treated our sweet Wheaten Terrier Cassidy for over two years. We started with Dr. P. when Cassidy was 14 y.o. BEFORE she had any serious health issues. Cass did have allergies and some arthritis at that time. With daily supplements and regular acupuncture Dr. Patino managed and alleviated her symptoms giving Cassidy an amazing quality of life as she aged. Dr. P gave us exercises to strengthen Cassidy’s legs and taught us how to massage her body to keep her feeling well. As time progressed, so did Cassidy’s medical issues. Dr. Patino treated Cassidy’s incontinence with acupuncture and supplements and we saw immediate results. Dr. Patino is not just a true professional who lets you know when she will arrive at your home for the appointment and follows up to see how your pet is doing, she deeply loves animals and finds great joy in helping/healing them. She has a vast array of traditional and natural veterinary knowledge. Dr. María Patino has been an amazing blessing to Cassidy and our family. I cannot recommend her enough as a professional and a human!
