From the front desk staff to the veterinarians, this office is amazing. The front desk makes making appointments easy and there’s practically no wait. When you get there all the vet, assistance and techs treat my dogs very lovingly and with care which makes my visits easy. In recent times I’ve had to visit because my dogs both were sick and they could not make the process easier in caring for them. I highly recommend South Kendall Animal Hospital.

"They were super sweet and very kind and caring to my cat. I moved down here and wanted to find a good and trustworthy vet and I think I found the one. Very kind doctors and such a cute lobby room. They even wrote my kitty's name on the welcome board. I definitely will come back to their new building."

Love how warm and welcoming they were to my pet and I. Super friendly and loving with my pooch. I will continue coming back even if it's a super long drive, totally worth it! Professional courteous and loving people who are wonderful at what they do. A++

I regret making an appointment at this vet. My dog died a little after on the same day after visiting South Kendall Animal Hospital. I think everything that transpired during the vet visit was the cause of accelerating my dogs death. I've been going there for years for my dog and my other pets and I will never come back to this vet again. I took her in for a check up and to get her nails cut. The vet diagnosed her and told me she had a heart murmur and then proceeded to draw blood. First attempt was on her front leg which was unsuccessful , then she did the back leg but according to them they needed more samples because they thought it wasn't going to be good for testing. The last area they threw blood was on her neck /chest area. Having to watch my dog getting blood drawn three times was quite stressful and I'm sure even more stressful for my dog. Then they took her to the back to cut her nails and when they brought her back I was informed that they had to give her oxygen and to hang back for bit or if was too stressful for her to stay, then I could go. After waiting for a bit and the tech pointing out that she was exhibiting signs of recovering. I took her home and noticed she was still not doing well so I called the vet at 3:41 pm and spoke to the girl at the front desk and told her that something wasn't right and that her tongue was purple and she was breathing hard. She replied by saying they were closing at 4 pm and to take her to the emergency room and I told her I was just there and im 10 min away. If they could just see her and just give her more oxygen. She put me on hold and then told me that there was no adequate staff and to take her to the emergency room. The address she provided was far. I hung up and tried to call other vets in the area and they were also closing and were referring to other emergency clinics that were also far away. My dog could have still been alive today if it weren't for them. The vet clinic was still open so how is it possible that you had no adequate staff prior to closing. She was so stressed after the visit that her heart couldn't handle it. I wasn't to clear what a heart murmur diagnoses meant I was just told that I needed to make an appointment to the cardiologist but I would think the vet would know better and not put my dog through unnecessary stress if it meant she was at risk of her heart not being able to handle it. Plus the staff letting me go so easily after they administered oxygen. I didn't know that her life was in danger and was not told to monitor or told what signs to look for. If I would have known that her life was in danger I would have never left the vet and maybe she would have survived instead I'm forever traumatized by this experience and grieving.
