Pet Emergency Center

I visited them when they were on University Drive in Tamarac FL. Our cat had ingested some balloon ribbon and she was not well. They took such excellent care of both her and us. I'm sad that they moved to Cypress Creek Road in Ft Lauderdale, FL but they are our #1 choice of vet for those emergencies when you can't wait for an appointment. I had to put my elderly cat down unexpectedly and most places either couldn’t get us in soon enough or weren’t willing to do the procedure. Pet Emergency Center got us in right away and were empathetic towards our situation. They handled the entire process with kindness and gentleness and for that I will always be thankful. I wasn’t sure whether to spend a little extra on the “memorial package” but I’m so glad I did. The company they used for the memorial items was also thoughtful and so kind. Pet Emergency Center took a horrible situation and make it a little bit lighter and I would highly recommend them based on my experience.

I've been with them for three different occasions. Yesterday afternoon, my baby started bleeding profusely from a growth she had in her gums. Both Lindsay and Dr. Lee were absolutely professional, fast, attentive, and compassionate. I wouldn't have taken my baby anywhere else. She passed peacefully in my arms on 9/15. Dr. Lee and Lindsay, thank you for taking care of us in such a delicate moment. I'll never forget your kindness.

I had brought my rabbit to be seen on a Sunday morning for an emergency visit. The staff worked very diligently to get everyone seen as quickly and efficiently as possible. I would say I waited about an hour and 20 minutes tops and from my past experience that was not a terrible wait considering the circumstances. Lindsay and Dr. Schneider were the ones to take care of my rabbit that day and they were a great team. Unfortunately, my rabbit still passed away from not eating for a few days but they did everything they could for him at the time of the appointment. I greatly appreciate their hard work despite the outcome.

Very grateful for these people! Dr. Kiser and Dr.R were amazing. My baby had some serious reactions to pest control and they did a great job at taking care of her and helping her recover. They were very attentive and helped calm my anxious nerves by giving me follow up calls and updates throughout the date and night. The staff was very friendly and caring as well! Wouldn’t hesitate to be back for any future emergencies or concerns! HIGHLY recommend them! Thank you 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🩷🩷🩷
