Banfield treats my two little sheltie‘s, so well both preventative and when they get sick or injured. Their pet plans are very affordable. The staff is super friendly and I couldn’t be happier with the care for my doggies.

UPDATE: I took my perfectly healthy 4 year old Shitzu in for a teeth cleaning at Banfield on Linton Avenue in Delray Beach. He was sedated during the procedure. When I picked him up, he was coughing and appeared to be trying to clear his throat. The nurse told me it was normal. After a 15 minute drive home, my dog was crying and wheezing. At this point, Banfield was closed. I had to call the emergency number. They told me to bring the dog in immediately. He was in really bad shape when we arrived. They did X-rays, took blood and sedated him. Results were that my dog had pneumonia and water in his lungs due to faulty tube removal. 2 Antibiotics, a hefty bill and we finally went home. The next day, I called and sent the emergency report to Banfield. At first, it was excuses and denial from the vet. They said he wasn’t sick when I picked him up and refused to take responsibility. But yes, I did tell the nurse that he wasn’t right upon picking him up. The report showed that the pneumonia was undeniably caused by the actions of the vet. After lots of back and forth, Banfield agreed to pay half of my dr. bill and release me from the year long contract without charging a fee. I do feel that they should’ve paid the entire bill, but I was glad they were cooperating. Needless to say, we left Banfield and will never return. I do not recommend Banfield veterinary services. If you love your pup, stay away. I have heard lots of horror stories since I had this experience.

Just took our dog in for a checkup and some vaccines. The entire process was excellent. From the cordial and helpful check-in and Check-out team, to the professional, caring, knowledgeable, talented, and understanding, Dr. Emanuel; along with the stellar assistant, Troy.
