Avocado Animal Hospital

Doctor Aniel was very good. The whole team was friendly and attentive. They treat any animal species and are really good at a fraction of the price of other places. After being disappointed by other vets, I was more than grateful to have found a team that really took their time and cared for my animal as much as I do. I really highly recommend this clinic for everyone. If you're in Miami it is 100% worth the drive.

I was under time constraints and had to be a walk-in. It was the most organized I have ever seen, they have to manage emergency, surgery and regular apts. They do this with great skill! I was also truly impressed with how well kept and clean the facility is. Most importantly, the staff was kind and extremely informative. They take their time with you and your pet, they clearly want to retain you as a customer. I cannot recommend this facility enough! I am so happy to have found them.

I am a veterinary technician. We recently relocated to the area and I haven’t started my job search yet. My dog was showing some urinary signs and wanted to have him seen to rule out a UTI. He’s had something similar happen before, not warranting an ER visit, but wanted him to get checked out. Avocado Animal Hospital offers walk in appointments which is really great. So many animal hospitals are inundated as it is, so I wholly appreciate that they are able to offer this, especially to non established clients. After reading some of the negative reviews on here, I think it’s important for folks to understand that walk ins are triaged based on urgency and ability to treat. Yes, you may have to wait to be seen, and that’s always a good thing in regards to your pet. The hospital already has scheduled appointments to be seen, and scheduled surgeries as well. It’s not easy to see walk ins while respecting the time of your scheduled patients. If you are told that they can’t provide the necessary treatment, it’s not because they don’t care, it’s because your pet needs something that they cannot provide at that time. That’s not on them. They want your pet to get the best care possible. As someone with several years of experience doing this myself, I guarantee that they have your pets best interest at heart. We had a great experience here, the hospital was clean, well kept, and all of the staff were friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable. I’m not sure what the prices are like in this area, but compared to what I am used to, their charges are extremely reasonable. I would recommend this hospital to anyone. We all love our Fur Babies. It's nice to know that the staff of Avocado Animal Hospital do too. I needed a new vet doctor for my new baby, Dobby, and they were fantastic. Professional and caring staff. Prices were reasonable for services. Highly recommend! Dobby gives his stamp of approval.
